how to use? does it really turn on when it touches any surface? can it be turned off?

Hi Miss, it uses AA battery. You can put the cream on top and massage on your skin . It will vibrate once it touches on your skin, as long as there is a contact, it will vibrate automatically. The LED red light is to increase the regeneration of your skin cells.
